Advancement Coordinator

This role provides administrative support across both marketing and development functions. 

The Advancement Coordinator reports to the Development Manager.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Part-time, salaried, exempt: $25,000 - $30,000 DOQ 

  • Work week: 20 hours/week, Monday - Friday with occasional additional hours during events/campaigns

  • Location: Hybrid, Tues-Thurs in office

  • PTO: 1.5 weeks (60 hours) and paid holidays

  • Retirement: 3% matching simple IRA

Advancement Coordination

  • Support donor stewardship efforts, including acknowledgement letters, impact reports, stewardship materials, and personalized outreach

  • PO box and mailhouse management

  • Manage all gift entry 

  • Coordinate donor payment changes

  • Assist in donor database management and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date

  • Coordinate logistics for fundraising events and campaigns

  • Manage fundraising platforms (Clickbid, Little Green Light, Website, etc.)

  • Provide administrative support to the Advancement Team

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and organizational initiatives

  • Special oversight of recurring givers and givers under $1,000 annually

  • Project management

  • Administrative & in person event support

  • Website update management

  • Facilitate thank you calls

  • Church outreach and management

  • Assist with scheduling, documentation, and internal coordination

  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with consistency

  • Experience in nonprofit development or administration is a plus

  • Demonstrated success in transforming systems into high-performing workflows 

  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills, with specific attention and care paid to navigating the field of Child Welfare

  • Personal alignment with our core values and statement of faith 

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, monday.com (or comparable platform) and CRM platforms 

  • Personal connection to adoption and working with youth preferred
